Back Relief but Still on the Bench

After a trip to the walk-in clinic I’m back on my feet (kind of). A mixture of steroids, anti-inflammatory pills, and muscle relaxants have collectively worked to combat whatever the source of the pain was (or at least mask it temporarily). Despite this absence of pain I am still mostly useless around the house and I can’t help but feel sorry for my wife as she picks up all of the slack that I’m currently (and by necessity) leaving behind. Get Off My Bench!

If you are like most Latter-day Saints I have observed, you probably tend to sit in the same seat every Sunday. Every once in awhile, you walk into the chapel and realize that someone (probably a new person or a visitor) has committed the unpardonable sin – they have sat in your spot! The Garbage Fun

Garbage is dirty. It’s a fact. Earlier this month I found myself diving into a dumpster to retrieve some items our son had thrown beneath the garbage bag. While our garbage is relatively clean (mostly organic produce and eggs), the same could not be said for the dumpster I dove into earlier. Quite funny to think about in hindsight.
